Weather monitoring
Pessl Instruments GmbH it continuing to expand its international presence and will be present at the Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012 in Brussels

Receiving continuously accurate climate data becomes more and more important. Accurate data leads to sustainable decisions. iMETOS systems are well known worldwide. In more than 85 countries you can find their measurement stations.
Recently Pessl Instruments GmbH (www.metos.at) finished a large order for Brazil. At 250 different places they will install a weather station used for a service network to protect the most important crops against numerous diseases. Due to these service diseases are selectively prevented from developing and spreading, yields stay high, and crop failures are brought down to a minimum.
In addition to these crop protection models, they can also provide a weather forecast with hourly resolution and covering six days in advance.
Pessl Instruments are producing automatic weather stations for agriculture (irrigation/plant protection), research, advisory services, environmental and e.g. hydrological projects. iMetos is used for frost, fire, flood and wind warning, weather forecast, water management and disaster protection.
Thanks to Pessl Instruments chain interface the connection of many sensors of different type is possible. Via GPRS all measured data are available at one platform: www.fieldclimate.com
There you can see and manage all your measured and calculated data. Check out this demo access: username: austria ; password: guest
Next week you have the opportunity to visit their stand at the this year’s Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012 in Brussels –
Booth: 1015
They will exhibit their manufactured environmental monitoring devices. You are welcome to visit them.
