measurement and control stations, ProMinent (Germany) offers all-encompassing standardised measurement and control units for the three most important aspects of water treatment processes: Drinking water, cooling water and waste water. Thanks to the modular design of the panel-mounted measurement and control stations, effective systems, optimised to specific user requirements, can be easily realised with the aid of the application-specific identity code ordering system. In this way, the advantages of standardisation can be combined with maximum flexibility.
Application optimised Dulcotrol measurement and control stations are designed as complete and compact online process measurement and control systems mounted on a PE panel. As plug&play modules, minimum effort is required to install the stations in a process water bypass system. Depending on the specific water treatment application, the measurement and control stations are divided into drinking water, including food and beverage, cooling water and waste water modules.
In all model series, 1 to 3 measured variables can be configured on one panel specific to the measured water. Corresponding to requirements, the measuring devices can be equipped with measurement or manifold control functions. Further devices such as compatible filters, pressure
reducers, heat exchangers or pumps for measurement water can be added to complement application-specific water treatment.
The standard version of a complete measurement and control station consists of a D1C or D2C controller for one or two measured variables, one to three sensors as well as the corresponding fittings, piping and wiring and a multifunctional operator-control module. All necessary components are perfectly matched and mounted ready for connection. To simplify and assist the calibration and servicing procedures, the operator control module features corresponding fixtures for sensors, handheld devices and calibration solutions for all measurement parameters.
Simple and reliable configuration: With the aid of a simple identity code ordering system, it is possible to configure the required measurement and control station reliably and effectively without the
need for detailed technical knowledge.
The user can assemble the application specific measurement and control station with the aid of 10 application criteria. The main selection criteria include the measured variable, the type of water to be measured and whether the task is measurement or controlling. Depending on the selected criteria, all components required for measurement or control are assembled automatically. The measurement stations configured in this way are mounted ready for connection. Only very few settings are required to install these plug&play modules and take them into operation.
