Mar 11 2025
New gas chromatography analyzers for conventional and synthetic aviation turbine fuels are now available from Agilent.
Characterizing the composition of jet fuel is essential for ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operation and for maintaining the high performance and reliability standards the aviation industry requires.
Chromatographers can now use the unique cryogen-free Agilent Capillary Flow Technology reversed flow modulator to switch between columns and a novel GC Image GCxGC software to visualize, analyze, and process data.
This powerful combination provides a complete comprehensive single-vendor solution for analysis of n-paraffins, i-paraffins, naphthenes, and 1-ring and 2-ring aromatic hydrocarbons in conventional and synthetic aviation turbine fuels, in accordance with ASTM D8396 and NB/SH/T 6078.
