Multiple new product launches at Ocean Business

Ocean Business will serve as the launch venue for an exciting range of brand-new products from Teledyne Marine. Visitors to Teledyne Marine’s stands in the exhibition hall and dockside will have the opportunity to explore the latest product launches and industry solutions.
A major highlight of Teledyne Marine’s presence at Ocean Business will be the unveiling of a groundbreaking new product on April 8 at 4pm at Stand T7. Attendees are invited to join this special event, enjoy refreshments, and be among the first to witness the latest addition to Teledyne Marine’s extensive portfolio.
Teledyne Marine will also debut the new Workhorse Proteus, which makes its European debut at the event. This evolution of the original Workhorse ADCP by Teledyne RD Instruments offers ultimate flexibility and delivers unparalleled data on currents, turbulence, and particle distribution in the marine environment.
The company will also introduce the new Intrepid System, designed for unmanned surface survey vessels. This GNSS/Inertial Navigation System integrates with the SeaBat T20-ASV processor for precise positioning and will be available for hands-on experience at Ocean Business on Teledyne Marine’s demo boats.
Teledyne Marine will also showcase the new SeaBat T51-S, which offers improved depth capability of up to 6000m while maintaining data reliability and hands-free operation. This latest enhancement of the respected SeaBat T51 will be launched at Ocean Business.
Additionally, Teledyne Valeport will introduce a new, highly accurate, and robust pH sensor, which is set to change the game in water quality monitoring. The event will also feature the introduction of the new BlueStreamX2, an upgrade for Benthos modem families and UTS topside systems, doubling the data rate for Benthos Acoustic Modems (WideBand C frequency) to 4800 bits per second.
Throughout the event, Teledyne Marine will conduct live on-water and dockside demonstrations. These demonstrations will give attendees a firsthand look at the capabilities of Teledyne Marine’s cutting-edge marine technologies. On-water demonstrations will showcase the advanced functionality of the SeaBat T51-R multibeam echosounder and Lidar system aboard the CRC VOYAGER, highlighting features such as Vertical Detection Mode for superior quay wall and multi-path rich survey data collection. Visitors can also explore the precision capabilities of Teledyne’s SeaBat sonars on various marine vehicles at HS 02.
Teledyne Marine experts will lead insightful presentations throughout the event, covering a range of marine technology advancements and industry trends. On April 8, Carl Mancuso will discuss Benthos acoustic updates and ropeless fishing innovations from 11:30-12:30, followed by Paul Devine’s presentation on the new Workhorse Proteus ADCP from 13:00-14:00. Later that day, Arnar Steingrimsson will discuss the latest advancements in deep ocean survey vehicles from 16:00-17:00.
On April 9, Rolf Christensen will explore the future of subsea navigation from 10:00-11:00, Cordielyn Goodrich will provide advanced Slocum glider training from 14:30-15:30, and Shea Quin will present on Slocum Sentinel Glider advances from 16:00-17:00.
On April 10, Pim Kuus will give the latest updates on the SeaBat sonar series from 10:00-11:00, Natasja Verboom will present Teledyne Marine’s full suite of technologies for marine construction from 11:30-12:30, and Cordielyn Goodrich will share the results of the REPMUS 2024 glider exercise from 13:00-14:00.
