Get Connected to New Solutions at Safety and Health Expo 2015

Casella (UK) will be showcasing a selection of its next generation occupational hygiene monitoring solutions at Safety & Health Expo 2015, on 16-18 June at the ExCel London convention centre. At the event, Casella will be launching its innovative new Apex2 range of personal sampling pumps for dust, whilst also giving visitors the opportunity to interact with the recently launched dBadge 2 noise dosimeter and HAVex Tri-Axial Hand Arm Vibration Meter.

The Apex2 is the new generation of Casella’s personal sampling pumps for dust and includes three separate models: Apex 2, Apex 2 Plus and Apex 2 Pro, all of which further improve the performance and efficiency of personal sampling. The three models feature a motion sensor, providing those responsible for monitoring with the percentage of time the pump was actually being worn. In addition, the Apex 2 Plus and Apex 2 Pro both feature Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity, which connects with the new easy to use Casella Airwave App for remote monitoring on smartphones and tablets - enhancing efficiency and ensuring better reporting than ever before. The Apex2 models also have a slim ergonomic design, making it unobtrusive to the wearer.

dBadge 2, Casella’s next generation noise dosimeter, has been designed following invaluable feedback from users, and includes a number of new features that will ensure enhanced functionality, connectivity and ease of use. The light-weight device connects with a smartphone app to enable noise measurement and reporting in real time and without disruption to workforces.

Casella’s new HAVex Tri-Axial Hand Arm Vibration Meter has been developed to monitor those susceptible to hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS). Featuring just three operational buttons and a large colour display screen this instrument is much easier and quicker to use than other available meters. It tracks the length of time the operator is exposed to the vibration and is able to calculate and simply display total exposure, in accordance with current legislation.
