New Sample Analyser
Mar 14 2012
EST Analytical (USA) introduces the Centurion RSK50 a new and novel instrument specifically for the complete automation of RSK 175 analysis as outlined by the USEPA National Risk Management Research Laboratory as well as the PA DEP. The system performs sample preparation of a full 40ml VOA vial, by removing an aliquot of sample and placing it in Helium filled empty 40ml vial. The vial can then be heated to reach equilibrium followed by loop or pressure balanced headspace injection directly to the GC. The process is completely automated, never exposes the sample to atmosphere, shows excellent precision and accuracy with carryover less than 0.08%.
The system may be used for a variety of headspace applications where user interactions with samples need to be eliminated. The automated processing of samples prior to headspace analysis reduces human error and improves overall reliability.
