Monitoring workplace safety in environments where hazardous gases may be present is of crucial importance, especially in sectors such as gas and water supply, sewage disposal, and confined space monitoring. The OLLI gas measurement and warning device, from Esders, is a solution designed to meet the rigorous demands of explosion protection. With its robust, explosion-proof construction and versatile multi-range capabilities, OLLI provides dependable detection of flammable and toxic gases, including methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The device serves three main purposes: measuring and warning for up to five gases, detecting methane leaks in overground pipes, and performing pressure measurements.

The OLLI can be set up to perform specific user needs for both diffusion and pump-assisted operation. The instrument incorporates an intuitive user interface with a clear, graphic LCD, function-driven menu navigation, and a practical ESC/return button to simplify operation. It plays a vital role in ensuring safe working conditions by verifying oxygen levels and detecting the presence of harmful or explosive gases before work commences. By combining a pressure measurement sensor with gas sensors, the device can also be connected to a pipeline to measure and report gas concentration versus air concentration when filling or emptying a gas pipe, as well as track and report the volume of gas flared during flaring operations, enabling operators to comply with recent updates in EU methane regulations.

The OLLI offers extensive functionality with up to 5 gas sensors configurable to user specifications. Its rugged 2C synthetic housing is engineered for durability in harsh industrial conditions, with an IP67 protection rating to guarantee enhanced resilience. The device's extended battery life, of up to 50 hours depending on configuration, ensures continuous and long-lasting monitoring capabilities. Additional features, including cutting-edge filter technology, Bluetooth connectivity for streamlined data transfer, and a bump test station for on-site function verification, make the OLLI a comprehensive solution for gas detection needs.

Certified to DGUV Regel 113-004, EN 60079-29-1, EN 50104, and EN 45544 standards, and holding multiple ATEX approvals, the OLLI provides a trusted measurement function for explosion protection applications. As part of the BG RCI list of function-tested gas detectors, it upholds the highest safety and performance standards.
