Environnement S.A Sign Technical-Commercial Agreement for Assessment of Air Quality Following COP21 Talks

Following the state visit of Francois Hollande on May 2015 to Cuba, during which Environnement S.A was represented in the official delegation by its President, François Gourdon, fruitful exchanges took place in Paris during the COP21 climate talsk. Mrs. Elba Rosa Perez Montoya, the Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment and a delegation of the Cuban state had visited the company, which is headquartered in Poissy.
The Lady Minister had then expressed the hope that her country will utilise instruments quality as innovative and sophisticated as those designed and manufactured by our company to measure the air : “We had a good presentation of the work that the company achieves worldwide” said the minister at the end of her visit. “Environment S.A. has many years of experience and has a major development strategy. This guarantees success.“
On February 2nd, during the official visit to France by Raúl Castro, Cuban Head of State, and as part of an exceptional Business Forum France-Cuba organised by MEDEF International*, Environnement S.A signed a technical-commercial agreement with the Institute of Meteorology of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba. Christophe Chevillion, Environment S.A CEO signed this protocol Tuesday, February 2 at MEDEF headquarters
The agreement, attended by Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, vice president of the Council of Ministers, in charge of International Economic Relations and Rodrigo MALMIERCA DIAZ, Minister for Trade Exterior and Foreign Investment,focuses on strengthening skills and capacities Cuba to assess the level of air quality and provides technical assistance to design a system for measuring and forecasting of air pollution at national level.
"This unique forum is part of a new stage in the consolidation of relations between Cuba and France, Environnement S.A. being particularly proud to make a contribution in his heart business, the monitoring of the air quality”, declares Mr. Chevillion.
