Bluetooth technology provides extended functionality to multi-parameter water quality probe
Oct 30 2024
Aquaread now offers Bluelink, a Bluetooth adapter that can be fitted to the end of their highly regarded Aquaprobe multi-parameter water quality probe’s cable, superseding the Aquameter. The Bluetooth device anables the probe to connect to the Bluelink mobile app, which provides users with significantly enhanced functionality and operates seamlessly with the connected Aquaprobe.
The app allows users to view many live readings simultaneously, assign their chosen additional sensors, view previous calibration information, and perform new calibrations on all sensors; logged data is simple to share by email directly from the phone.
Aquaread has developed additional features that are available for a variety of specific tasks, such as a dedicated section for low-flow sampling which has been designed to make the process simpler and provide useful advice during the process as well as automating much of the data collection process.
The Bluelink app can be used directly with the Aquaread AS-PRO sonde that has integrated Bluetooth. The app enables users to set up logging regimes, cleaning frequencies, event triggers and durations along with the syandard features of live data viewing and sensor calibration. It also works with Aquaread’s Leveline range, enabling complete logger setup, live data viewing and data retrieval from multiple units with the capability to email the necessary data.
