Envea employees receive €2 million reward for 40 years of success, hard work and loyalty

The founder of Environnement SA is celebrating the company’s 40th anniversary in business by giving all of 600 employees 40 free shares each, making them all around €3,000 better off.

François Gourdon, the company’s founding chairman, surprised staff with the news of the gift, which will cost about €2million at a 40th anniversary party in Paris on the 28th of June. Staff based at Environnement SA’s head office in France, as well as India, Germany, Italy, UK, US and China are all to benefit from this act of generosity, regardless of their seniority or position within the company.

Environnement SA are well known for manufacturing pollution monitoring stations in ambient air, process optimisation instruments, gas and particulates emissions, and dioxin levels at a wide range of industrial installations. The company recently secured a lucrative contract to supply monitoring stations in Qatar, host of the next football World Cup tournament in 2022.

From July 1st, the company’s name has changed to ENVEA, almost 40 years to the day after it was founded with just three employees.
