Air Monitoring
A Whole Other level of NOx Analysers has Landed
Sep 01 2017
After more than 25 years of experience manufacturing environmental monitoring instruments in the field of chemiluminiscence detection (CLD) for nitrogen oxides (NOx) measurement and delivering them all over the globe, ECO PHYSICS prides itself announcing their Next Generation of CLD analysers, the “neo CLD”. While craftsmanship and technological research are the solid guarantees of the quality and precision that have always distinguished their analysers, with the neo CLD, ECO PHYSICS has managed to increase the total efficiency and keep the reliability on the highest level, matching their primary vision: To develop a world-class emission and ambient analyser that provides a unique performance appealing to both scientists and researchers.
The essential innovation is the thoroughly modernised electronics. Combining the best out of their experience in CLD analysers with the latest advancements in microprocessor technology, ECO PHYSICS has developed a truly modular concept where each component holds its own intelligence. All modules are now internally connected by a bus system, simplifying the instruments’ wiring while improving its reliability and serviceability. Each module such as the ozone generator, converter, scrubber and reactor block comes now with its own drivers and microprocessors to measure and/or control physical parameters like temperatures, pressures, flows and counts locally. The main software platform “GUI - Graphical User Interface” controls, visualises and logs all relevant parameters.
The neo CLD will be launched in the first quarter of 2017, comprising each family of the 1- and 2-Channels ECO PHYSICS instruments, represented by the nCLD60, nCLD800 and the nCLD Supreme Line series, which is the top of the line researcher’s tool for NOx measurement. ECO PHYSICS is always pushing to the limits of what is technically feasible and with the neo CLD the measurement of nitrogen oxides will be taken to a whole other level.
