Highly advanced gas analysis technology to be showcased at AQE

AVL Analytical Technologies GmbH is a leader in the development and production of gas analysers as well as measuring and automation systems for gas emission applications. Exhibiting at the AQE in Birmingham on stands I19/J18, AVL will be demonstrating portable and stationary analysers for TOC (total organic carbon) measurements as well as multi-component FTIR spectrometers.

The AVL FTIR C50 ensures accurate and highly dynamic measurements of multiple gas components for process or stack emission monitoring. It synchronously measures CO2, CO, CH4, NO, NO2, NOx, NH3, N2O, HCHO and many more gases within one gas cell, eliminating the need for time alignment. The integrated FTIR is a low-drift measurement device with long-term stable factory calibration. The system only requires a zero-gas adjustment and does not need any operational gases or liquid nitrogen, which makes it ideal either for mobile measurements or long-period measurements in demanding applications.

The AVL PA-FID C50TM is a Portable FID analyser for continuous total organic carbon measurement in the process industry and in laboratories. The analyser features robust housing and shock protection for most demanding outdoor operations. Thanks to the very compact design with a weight of less than 20 kg the AVL PA-FID C50 is easy to transport. It requires just H2 as fuel gas for operation and thanks to its very low gas consumption, the device can be operated for more than 80 hours with only one 1-litre H2 gas bottle.

The comfortable user interface of AVL’ analysers offer local operation via touch display or from any device via web interface. It is equipped with day/night mode switching for better visibility and a one click-recording function among other features. In addition, the analyser comes with a Modbus interface for external device automation. The innovative design of the systems makes them easy to install and maintain. Integrated self-plausibility checks during and after warm-up deliver accurate, dependable measurement data.
