Look After Your Equipment for Accurate Field Results
Feb 07 2011
If you work in environmental research and consultancy the chances are your budgets will be under threat and at the same time you’ll be asked to improve productivity, eliminate waste and gather accurate results. That’s why Van Walt Ltd, the specialist provider of environmental monitoring equipment and training, has developed an equipment check, service and repair service for pumps, reclaimers, water quality meters, pump controllers, PIDs and dip meters.
“Why you need to check and service your equipment regularly seems obvious,” explains Vincent van Walt, director. “However, simple checks are being overlooked and the result is downtime in the field or worse, inaccurate results. It’s recognised best practice to calibrate a water quality meter daily when onsite but we know this doesn’t always happen and the accuracy of the reported results might be questioned.”
Vincent continues: “Checking, servicing and repairing equipment is one way to ensure effective field time but giving our customers access to maintenance films, fact sheets, quick start guides and training are some of the other things we offer to ensure they get accurate results first time, every time.”
