A simple, precise and economic way to monitor multiple levels of groundwater data at PFAS sites

May 27 2024

The Model 403 CMT Multilevel System from Solinst has proven to be highly effective for monitoring PFAS contamination. These precise instruments monitor multiple depth-discrete groundwater zones in just one borehole and provide extremely accurate 3D assessments of PFAS contamination. These measurements provide a crucial insight to the vertical and horizontal movement of PFAS, characterising the PFAS plume and monitoring concentration fluctuations.

Solinst offer the CMT with a choice of 3 or 7 channels, with monitoring ports that are easy to construct at different depths in each channel. The 3-Channel version can be used for direct push deployments. Both versions of the CMT minimise site disturbance, and are both economic and simple  to install.

A research article where Solinst’s CMTs were used in six pilot-scale studies evaluating the treatment of PFAS compounds in groundwater is available to download here.
