Danish Success Celebrated
Nov 01 2013
A partnership between the UK’s specialist manufacturer of water quality measuring equipment and a Danish distributor has been hailed a tremendous success following a record breaking first twelve months.
Partech Instruments (UK) joined forces with Aquasense in 2012 to extend its international reach into Denmark and by combining an innovative product range with in-market expertise and contacts, over 50 of Partech Instrument’s sensors are now in operation across the country.
One of the British made Partech products that Aquasense provide is the self-cleaning TurbiTechw² HR, a sensor that is specifically designed for use in wastewater treatment plants where high levels of suspended solids are desirable. Through the partnership this product is now implemented by the water industry in Denmark as well as by private companies. Among the other high profile successes enjoyed as a result of the distribution partnership with Aquasense, is use of products designed and manufactured by Partech in drilling the new metro in Copenhagen by the Danish Metro Company.
With a reputation for quality in the installation and servicing of water treatment measurement systems, Aquasense was considered natural distribution partner for Partach Instrument. Sales and Marketing Director, Angus Fosten explains: “Partech is established in 18 countries across the world and much of our success can be credited to working with the right distributors. We pride ourselves on developing long-term relationships so it is crucial that our distribution partners share our service culture and Aquasense has delivered on every level. It has proved to be a winning partnership and I look forward to working with Aquasense to increase our market share in Denmark as well as in other territories such as Greenland and the Faroe Islands.”
Thomas Franck, Sales Engineer at Aquasense, comments: “By combining a rugged and innovative design with minimum maintenance and calibration requirements, Partech’s range of products has been very well received in Denmark by both the wastewater industry and the private sector. The high cost of workers in Denmark means that it is vital that we are able to connect our customers with the most reliable and sturdy instruments possible and by supplying the Partech range of high quality products we are confident that we are bringing the best available to the Danish market.”
