New On-Line and Laboratory Analysers, both for Acute Toxicity in Water
Sep 12 2013
The Easychem Tox on-line from Alliance Instruments (France) is a fully automated analyser for toxicity monitoring of water samples, using live cultures of luminescent bacteria, combined with the quantitative measurement of chemical parameters applying standard spectrophotometric & fluorimetric methods (up to 10 chemical parameters).
The system is programmed to manage three bacterial vials in succession, thus enabling up to one month of unattended operation.
The instrument provides local storage and immediate data transmission by FTP, HTTP or SMS, with alert service.
The Easychem Tox for laboratories is the first discrete analyser to utilise a Cuvette Quality Assurance system, which offers automated system Quality control, in addition to automated analysis.
Easychem Tox is also the first discrete analyser to utilise a patented, integrated direct read luminometer based on high sensitivity photomultiplier designed for multitasking and high output rates.
The instrument can analyse up to 45 samples/hour in order to measuring Acute Toxicity.
In compliance with ISO 11348-3, the most common toxicants that can be detected by the instruments in the samples are: Biotoxins, Heavy metals, Herbicides, Pesticides, Oil contaminants, PCBs, Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons...
For both, AMS Systea have specifically created ready to use reagents for Acute Toxicity and other chemical parameters, developed, tested and validated by our Application Laboratory.
