Portable gas detection
One of the most popular portable multi-gas detectors on the market just got even better
Sep 11 2020
Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection’s most popular portable multi-gas detector, the PS200, features some important product advantages. One such advantage is as a powerful new datalogging capacity that enables customers to capture all relevant calibration and session data over a 6-month period. This increased capacity improves customers access to relevant data whilst enabling quicker decisions to be made.
Another helpful benefit is the new quick-press field calibration mode which saves customers time by simplifying the field calibration process. Customers are also able to visualise their short-term and long-term exposures to carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) enabling them to quickly determine current exposure rates and take appropriate action.
There is also a bundle of user experience strengths including a quick configuration display; configurable confidence signals; and increased user control around calibration due dates, dead-band configurations, and resolution settings (H2S). These features combined enhances performance; improve ease-of use; and importantly enrich the overall user experience.
Finally, the PS200 measures any combination of LEL, oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) making it suitable for a wide range of personal monitoring and confined space applications. In addition to extensive datalogging capabilities, the PS200 is available with an optional internal pump and an extensive range of accessories to meet a wide variety of user applications.
