Improved Gas Analysis and Detection Equipment Calibration Service
Mar 28 2014
Regular calibration of gas analysis and detection equipment is recommended in order to verify that the gas sensors are responding correctly and to improve measurement accuracy, consistency and reliability. With the addition of two new automated calibration stations, Cambridge Sensotec (UK) are now able to offer a fully comprehensive and professional calibration service for a wide range of gas analysis and detection equipment. This service is not only available for the company’s Rapidox range of gas analysers, but also for many other brands.
Cambridge Sensotec have recently designed and installed two fully automated calibration stations for the calibration gas analysis instruments. Three levels of gas are used to set a low, medium and high point of gas calibration within the process to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. Constructed using stainless steel, leak proof components and precision gauges, the calibration stations are able to maintain consistent measurements. The advantages of automation are time efficiency and the repeatability of a set calibration routine.
In addition to scientific and process gas analysis equipment, a calibration service is available on a wide range of portable personal gas detection equipment. Specialist docking stations including Industrial Scientific DS2 and the BW Technologies Microdock II provide accurate bump testing and certified calibrations. Other brands of personal gas detection devices can also be calibrated.
Cambridge Sensotec are able to offer customers a comprehensive fixed gas detection installation and commissioning, service. This service includes consultation, supply, maintenance and calibration schedules designed specifically around the customers' applications and environments.
For customers who require onsite gas equipment calibrations, Cambridge Sensotec can supply calibration gas kits which include lightweight disposable gas canisters with independent calibration certificates and gas regulators, all housed within a robust carry case.
Calibration canisters are available specifically for the calibration/bump testing of single and multi-gas analysers, sensors or devices. These include a wide range of disposable, lightweight, compact and non-refillable calibration cylinders containing reactive or non-reactive gases. The 112 litre capacity cylinders can provide approximately 220 minutes of gas flow (when using a 0.5 litre per hour fixed flow regular with pumped gas equipment). A comprehensive range of accessories are also available.
