5 Things You Need to Know About New 4 Gas Detector
Jan 26 2017
What is the PS200?
The PS200 is a highly recommended 4 gas detector which displays and detects up to four gases simultaneously. The PS200 is rated to IP67 making it a suitable gas detector used in a range of industries for entry into hazardous areas and confined spaces.
Why Choose the PS200?
Battery Life
A lithium-ion battery provides run time of up to 80 hours* when using low power the LEL sensor.
When your PS200 battery has completely run flat, re-charging only take 4 hours. You can expect an 80% charge within 2 hours of re-charging. (consider buying an in-vehicle charging adapter).
Compliance Capabilities
The PS200 has a built-in safety feature which has the ability to turn itself off when calibration is overdue. This forces the gas detector to be calibrated.
The PS200 retains the last five bump test and calibration data. In addition to displaying all gas readings simultaneously, the user can also initiate a manual bump test anytime using the Auto Bump/Calibration (ABC) test station.
The ABC station follows a simple 6 step guide operation which dramatically improves compliance record-keeping, efficiency, and accuracy. Once the PS200 is placed in the dock it can be tested, calibrated, and charged.
Datalogging
This PS200 gas detector comes with data logging as a standard feature. With a memory capacity of up to about a year, the PS200 can record everything, including when it goes into alarm, through the session log feature.
Rubber Boots
Protective coloured rubber boots for the PS200 multi-gas detector firstly offer protection. Secondly, the coloured boots can be used to differentiate multi-site or multi-application use to tell them apart. There are 7 colours available to choose from (black, grey, yellow, red, orange, blue and green).
All this for a fantastic price
a1-cbiss are now offering the GMI PS200 for just £335. And because the gas detectors are in stock, a1-cbiss can deliver these the next working day.
* Some applications are not suitable for the use of the low power LEL sensor such as heavy oil refining, areas with significantly high H2S and hydrocarbons over C5.
** UK mainland delivery. Orders must be placed before 2pm to qualify.
