Fifth Edition of Eco Expo Asia to Focus on “Business Solutions to Climate Change”
Apr 27 2010
The fifth edition of Eco Expo Asia will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong from 3 – 6 November 2010. For the second consecutive year, the territory’s only trade fair dedicated to products and services for environmental protection has the total support of the Environment Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, which will act once again as co-organiser of the event.
The 2010 event will focus on “Business Solutions to Climate Change”, during which time effective solutions tackling the environmental challenges faced in Asia will be introduced. In addition, four main exhibit profiles will concentrate on Air Quality, Energy Efficiency & Energy, Waste Management & Recycling and Eco-friendly Product, plus, special areas for electric vehicles, green building and green technology have also been allocated. This, combined with the highly regarded concurrent Eco Asia Conference, featuring acclaimed environmental experts from around the world, highlights Hong Kong’s status as an international marketplace for innovative environmental technologies.
2010 event to be held concurrently with C40 Conference
The 2010 edition of Eco Expo Asia will coincide with the city’s hosting of a C40 Conference on two key aspects of the climate change solutions: building energy efficiency and electric vehicles. The Conference will be held from 5 – 6 November, bringing together government officials and environmental experts from over 40 cities including commercial and non-governmental sectors to share their insight of the climate change solutions.
Senior officials of the C40 cities, as well as key officials from related Chinese mainland government departments, environmental professionals from business, civil society, academia and relevant local stakeholders will converge in Hong Kong to share valuable information. Eco Expo Asia is the ideal parallel platform to be appraised of the latest environmental technologies and meet with key industry players.
