Product Spotlight: Active Air Samplers for Critical Environments
Aug 04 2015
Regulatory requirements define the importance of microbial monitoring in critical pharmaceutical environments. These stringent requirements can pose a challenge for pharmaceutical companies, as a significant number of staff may be needed to support the scope of environmental monitoring activities. As such, it is important that standard operating procedures be clearly defined to help ensure consistency and reliable results.
Merck Millipore (France) offers easy-to-use active air samplers to accurately monitor ambient air and compressed gases, which can streamline the monitoring process for cleanrooms and isolators and help prevent contamination.
When using active air samplers in critical areas it is important that the air flow not be significantly disrupted by the instrument’s operation, placement or removal. To minimize this risk, MAS-100 family and RCS High Flow Touch air samplers from Merck Millipore are designed with rounded edges and other features to minimise air flow disruption. Autoclavable sampling heads also reduce air flow disruption and the likelihood of human error.
