Analytical Quality Assurance Made Easy with Merck
May 22 2011
Trust plays a central role in any analysis. All Merck (Germany) products are therefore subject to careful functional and approval testing. This does not, however, free users from implementing their own quality assurance measures in accordance with national laws and international standards. Using components and products as part of a professional concept for analytical quality assurance, Merck makes internal quality control processes (IQC) reliable and safe.
Quality assurance measures which are capable of testing processes from start to finish guarantee safe, reproducible and approved results. With the Spectroquant® NOVA and Pharo photometers, Merck is the only provider to make instrument-supported analytical quality assurance possible. All AQA measures are documented in the test report, in accordance with GLP.
Validation, verification and calibration guarantee reliable analyses in accordance with international standards. GLP requires a careful process: installation qualification (IQ) and operation qualification (OQ) guarantees that instruments work as they should after installation. The performance qualification (PQ) then checks product-related functionality by testing method-specific standards and samples at intervals during routine work or before each individual test. Merck offers comprehensive IQ, OQ and PQ documentation for the Spectroquant® and Reflectoquant® systems, as well as IQ and OQ documents for Turbiquant® instruments. Please contact your local dealer to find out more about this service.
