Agilent Technologies Appoints New South East Asia Regional Manager for the Life Sciences Group in Southeast Asia region

Agilent Technologies (Singapore) today announced the appointment of Dr. Sam Mohan as the Southeast Asia Regional Manager for the Life Sciences Group.
Based in Singapore, Dr. Mohan will report to Mr. Rod Minett, General Manager of South- Asia Pacific and Korea Field Operations, Life Sciences Group, and will be responsible for managing all the life sciences’ sales channels in South East Asia. This comprises building the company’s product strategy, implementation, lifecycle management and partner integration, combined with overseeing all global brand and communications activities.
Prior to joining Agilent Technologies, Dr. Mohan was the Sales Director of Cell Biosciences, responsible for the company’s sales and marketing activities for distributors within the Pacific Rim area. He was also the Sales Manager at Amersham Biosciences and spent seven years managing the Bio-Rad Laboratories’ Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics product range.
“Dr. Mohan has over 16 years of experience in the biosciences industry and is a world-class and very experienced manager,” said Rod Minett.
“His appointment brings a wealth of talent and experience to Agilent Technologies, which will assist us in developing and growing our business. Over the past year, we have worked hard to ensure we have the right people on the ground and Dr. Mohan’s appointment is an integral part of that growth plan,” Minett added.
