OPSIS AB Receives €2.3 Millions from EU Research Programme Horizon 2020

OPSIS AB (Sweden) has been selected by the European Commission to develop a new system for online measurement in food production. OPSIS AB receives 2.3 million Euro business innovation grant by EU’s research and Innovation programme, Horizon 2020. OPSIS will combine over 30 years of experience in gas analysis with food expertise in the new OPSIS LiquidLINE division.

“The requirements for funding were challenging – it had to be innovative, customers identified and possible to bring to market within a short timeframe. This project will be another step to further strengthen OPSIS LiquidLINE presence on the food analysis market.“ - Olle Lundström, Director OPSIS LiquidLINE Division

”We are proud that the environmental technology that we have been providing for 30 years, now can be expanded to new market areas.” - Svante Wallin, CEO OPSIS AB

Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of fundings available over 7 years (2014 to 2020).  Horizon 2020 is open to everyone and actively supports SMEs (small and medium enterprises) by providing both direct financial support, and indirect support to increase their innovation capacity.
