AcSoft increase investment as part of ambitious strategy

As part of an ambitious long-term future growth strategy, AcSoft Holdings Ltd, which comprises AcSoft, GRAS UK and Svantek UK, has announced that General Manager, Paul Rubens has acquired a 50% interest in the business, making him joint partner alongside founder and Managing Director, John Shelton.

Paul, who has extensive experience in the health, safety and environmental technology markets across Europe, Asia and Americas, started working with AcSoft as a marketing consultant in 2011. At that time it was one small company, employing just 3 people but representing a number of key international manufacturers in the sound and vibration monitoring market.

Now AcSoft Group employs 15 people and comprises of three businesses offering a wide range of advanced noise and vibration instrumentation, software and sensors for environmental and occupational health monitoring applications, as well as market-leading measurement microphones for automotive, aerospace and defence industries for the UK market.

The company boasts an expanding workforce, wide customer base and large, modern offices in Bedford Technology Park, Thurleigh, Bedfordshire.

John Shelton, who founded the AcSoft Group 25 years’ ago in 1994 comments: “AcSoft’s growth is in no small part due to Paul’s efforts, and apparently, he was so impressed, he decided to invest in the company. At the end of August, Paul and I put pen to paper making us equal partners in the AcSoft Group, which sets us on the road for continued investment and expansion.

“I’m very happy to have Paul on board as a shareholder, and we are both incredibly motivated to take the group forward to still greater things.”

Paul Rubens adds: “AcSoft Group’s growth prospects are bright and I am excited about investing in and owning the business alongside John as part of a long term growth strategy.

“Becoming an equal shareholder demonstrates my confidence in the company’s products, management team and potential and is a reflection of my commitment to helping AcSoft Group achieve even more success in the future.”
