Leak detection
Revolutionary acoustic imaging camera in the UK
Nov 06 2024
AcSoft are proud to announce a new acoustic imaging camera to their product range.
The CRY8124 acoustic imaging camera, designed to revolutionise industrial inspections, excels at pinpointing leaks, identifying electrical partial discharge, and detecting mechanical deterioration.
Boosting an industry leading 200 microphones, users can take measurements using the camera up to 200 meters away from the source. This allows users to keep at a much safer distance from potentially toxic gas leaks when carrying out tests.
The camera also features an off-screen detecting function giving users an indication of the direction the fault is located in.
Reports are generated within five minutes, allowing users to gain insight on economic loss and severity level of the leak. When a gas leak is detected, the report will automatically identify the gas type and include a full recording of the test.
What makes this camera unique is that a person with basic training can produce a report in just minutes. In contrast, other solutions often require significantly more training to create a detailed report.
Crysound have addressed the issue of background noise by introducing a powerful algorithm called ‘HyperVison’ that mitigates mutual interference between different sources. The signals of the target sound source are emphasised, and previously unrecognised sound sources are accurately identified and presented.
In environments where continuous operation and safety are critical, the CRY8124 provides a cost-effective solution for maintaining machine integrity and troubleshooting should a leak occur.
