CH4 Analysis for Industrial Application
Mar 06 2013
BlueSens (Germany), specialists for gas analysis are introducing their CH4 gas sensors with new features. The BCP-CH4 IR gas sensors are offered in special set-ups for industrial applications. It comes with a ball valve, a button for the calibration, an external pressure sensor and the well-established robust aluminum housing according to IP 65 specifications.
The sensor can be used in combined heat and power plants, for production of Biogas and environmental and mining applications. The reliable sensor is easy to install and measures CH4-concentrations from 0-100 Vol. % directly at the spot where the process takes place. The ball valve is installed in the gas line and the sensor can be disconnected from the line without a problem so that the production process can continue without any interruptions. The external pressure sensor is also installed inline so pressure deviations are compensated automatically by the BCP-CH4 sensor.
The new features of the sensor were developed in cooperation with a major manufacturer of combined heat and power plants. The new set-up already has widely proven its reliability under challenging conditions. The BCP-CH4 is reasonably priced and a reliable device for the daily heavy-duty industrial applications.
