Lime Dosing made easy with Verderflex Peristaltic Pumps

The Municipal Water Treatment plant in South Africa have been having problems with their lime dosing pumps. Lime dosing is essential for water treatment where a 10% lime slurry is used to stabilise the ph of the water.

Since the original plant was built, Municipal have used two different types of electric motor driven diaphragm pump for adding the lime slurry to the sludge.
