New Situational Awareness Tool Helps you Manage Every Stage of the Water Cycle
Oct 13 2016
Veolia’s(UK) situational awareness tool, Waternamics, is the realisation of Veolia’s vision of a modern integrated control centre. Building on IBM’s Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) platform, Veolia has added its worldwide expertise in managing every stage of the water cycle. The jointly developed solution was initially implemented concurrently in Lyon (France) and in Tidworth (UK), where Veolia operates water and wastewater services. This system of systems is a proven platform for integration, analysis and visualisation of disparate data. Waternamics is capable of displaying and filtering data from various internal systems such as telemetry, GIS and work management systems, as well as external feeds such as weather and open data, to provide situational awareness across multiple sources of data.
