New upgraded control software for the smart sensor line

Seametric’s Aqua4Plus 2.0 features an easy-to use interface and updated communication driver. It is able to automatically detect your communication port and baud rate settings for a faster and more streamlined connection in the field. Using industry standard RS485 Modbus communication protocol, sensors can be easily networked as well. Simply connect your sensor and USB/RS485 cable to your PC, open Aqua4Plus 2.0, and you will be connected and ready to go.

Other new exciting features include data logging, real-time data monitoring, and custom calibration setups. Use Aqua4Plus 2.0 and set your sensor to log based on your custom profile settings, or choose one of the preconfigured logging profiles provided. It will also remember the three previous logging profiles used to make multiple sensor deployments that much quicker. The Real-time data monitoring is now available in both live graph and table views. Real-time data can be run with no interruption of data logging, plus you can check current conditions at any time while recording. The calibration feature allows you to both calibrate and configure your sensor to read pressure a number of ways. Pressure can be calibrated to read as Depth to Water (PSIG ranges only), Groundwater Elevation, or be matched up to an existing Staff Gauge reading.

Aqua4Plus 2.0 is equipped with an all new Reports section to manage your downloaded data, perform barometric compensations for PSIA sensors, and export your data to .csv or .a4d formats. View data in either graph or table view, each data report also includes statistics and a new Information section for user’s to add details such as site location and field notes. The new Barometric Compensation Utility allows for quick barometric compensations for PSIA sensors by automatically filtering for available barometric reference files within Reports. For cableless sensors a Depth to Water compensation option is available as well.

Seametrics Aqua4Plus 2.0 is built on a platform that allows for automatic software updates so you’ll always have the latest version on hand. It is currently available for the LevelSCOUT, BaroSCOUT, PT2X, and CT2X models, and will extend to the rest of our Seametrics Smart Sensor family. Aqua4Plus 2.0 will help drive efficiency in your water research through its easy to use, streamlined user interface. We’ve worked hard to incorporate features to make data collection and analysis as quick and painless as possible so you can focus on the big picture, monitoring our water resources.
