Ploptop Tubes for Ph-fix Test Strips

Macherey-Nagel (Germany) has introduced pH-Fix 0-14 PT, the easy-to-use PlopTop tube for the highly appreciated pH test strips pH-Fix 0-14. Developed for use in rough every day lab work, pH-Fix 0-14 PT defines a new standard for convenience and safety.
pH-Fix test strips are used for rapid pH testing directly at the point of interest. They are always ready for immediate use.
Coming with a complete colour chart they are readily calibrated. As single use devices they are totally maintenance free. For careful testing of dangerous, poisonous or aggressive liquids the strips have the optimal design. The long plastic handle effectively protects the user from contact with the sample. This makes pH-testing easier and safer.
pH-Fix 0-14 PT is a new packing for pH-Fix test strips, especially developed for convenience and safety in rough every day lab work.
The PlopTop tubes are easy to open and close. With one push of the thumb the cap gently opens. For optimal user convenience the vials have a wide opening of 1 inch (2,5 cm), ensuring that the strips can be easily taken out. To make using easier the tube is approx. 4 inch (10 cm) long, 0,5 inch (14mm)more than the strips inside. The lengthmakes sure that the strips do not stick out or clamp between cap and tube. The tubes can easily be closed with one push of the thumb.
To ensure optimal stability in rugged environments pH-Fix 0-14 PT comes in heavy duty HDPP tubes. These are much more stable than the usual PS boxes, that tend do break during transport or in the lab coat. The round HDPP tubes are part of the maximum safety concept and guarantee a safe packing for the strips in all laboratory circumstances.
The joint that connects the cap to the tube is designed to guarantee hundreds of safe openings and closings. It is much more durable than the so called Safe Edges for flat boxes that easily break leaving the pack open without a chance to close again.
The PlopTop of pH-Fix 0-14 PT will safely remain on the tube ensuring a safe packing of the pH test strips.
The PlopTop tubes are waterproof and airtight. One push with the thumb firmly closes the vial against the environment.
Even when the tube is put under water the test strips are kept safe. They will immediately be ready for the next measurement.
For most precise pH read off, pH-Fix 0-14 test strips use 4 different indicator dyes. The colour chart on the tube exactly matches both color and position of the pads on the strips. This enables highly precise pH-determination and makes the application rapid and reliable.
The patented pH-Fix technology ensures optimal usability of the test strips. During production the indicator is firmly fixed to the test paper. The dye does not bleed so clothes remain clean and samples remain pure.
