Water/Wastewater
Online measurement of TOC, TNb, TP and COD
Jul 16 2015
The control of waste water effluent and local waste water treatment plants takes a special position - from an ecological as well as economic point of view.
The sum parameters TOC (total organic carbon), COD (chemical oxygen demand), TP (total phosphorus) and TNb (total nitrogen bound) belong to the most important in the waste water sector. LAR AG provide with its QuickTOCNPO a measurement system for measuring the four parameters in one single unit. All parameters are determined according to internationally standardised procedures. At 1,200°C, it reliably dissolves all carbon and nitrogen bonds and thus enables a complete analysis of samples. The close connection between TOC content to the COD enables an easy correlation of the parameters. The determination of the TP takes place with the photometric molybdenum blue method. The modular system offers the greatest flexibility, while using the parameters in any combination. The link between the four parameters in one unit reduces the investment costs, support and maintenance and enables an efficient monitoring of the plants effluent.
