The new compact class in conductivity measurement
Nov 25 2019
JUMO’s tecLine CR S01 conductive two-electrode conductivity sensor stands out due to its particularly compact design. It can be used universally thanks to its wide measuring range and its resistance to cold, heat, and pressure.
JUMO tecLine CR S01 measures reliably in a temperature range from -40 to +100 °C and in a measuring range from 1 to 5 000 μS/cm. By using 2 high-quality and corrosion-resistant stainless steel electrodes, which are embedded in a robust plastic body made of PEEK, the sensor can be used in various media. As a result, the JUMO tecLine CR S01 is the ideal partner for refrigeration, air-conditioning, and cooling systems or reverse osmosis plants. It can also be used in general drinking and swimming pool water applications or in process water containing chemicals.
The process connections are available in versions with stainless steel, nickel-plated brass, and polyamide (PA). Its compact design type enables simple and space-saving installation in all variants. As a result of its short insertion length the device is also suitable for pipes with small nominal widths. The solid external electrodes are very easy to clean, which significantly reduces maintenance.
JUMO tecLine CR S01 can be connected to standard transmitters for electrolytic conductivity. Examples include the ecoTRANS, dTRANS CR02, AQUIS 500 CR, or AQUIS touch JUMO device series. JUMO digiLine CR measuring electronics turn the new sensor into a digital component of modern water plants "4.0" with digiLine/Modbus interface.
