Analytical Technology Expands Team to Increase Capacity as Prestigious Contract Wins are Secured
Jan 20 2012
Electrochemical sensor manufacturer Analytical Technology (UK) announces that the company is expanding its team to accommodate increasing business as it continues to grow as a water monitoring instrumentation supplier to the UK’s utility industry. Analytical Technology has expanded its workforce by more than 20%, including hiring two new employees to strengthen its Customer Service offering and meet the demands of new framework agreements with companies including Wessex Water and Yorkshire Water.
Following a series of high profile contract wins, Analytical Technology is determined to maintain the same high standards of customer support to complement its leading instrumentation. Lisa Briggs joins Analytical Technology as service administrator and is responsible for organising the top quality customer service and training that the company delivers to its customers. Lisa will coordinate the activities of Analytical Technology’s team of service engineers, ensuring that they are available to respond to challenges, such as disinfection issues, that can occur at wastewater treatment plants and need immediate attention. Lisa has a background in customer service and operational management, working at companies including AVIVA and Apropos Tectonic Ltd, ensuring that projects were delivered on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
Analytical Technology’s customer service team has also been bolstered with the appointment of Ann Jones as financial administrator. Both new employees will ensure that Analytical Technology’s customers receive a seamless and efficient service.
Analytical Technology as a company was set up in 1998 and from then on has enjoyed increasing success. Recent contract wins with Wessex Water, Severn Trent Water, Thames Water and Yorkshire Water mean that Analytical Technology now supplies water monitoring instrumentation to 7 out of the 10 major utility companies in the UK. In addition to this, Analytical Technology provides gas and water monitors to many food and beverage, industrial and pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Coca Cola and Britvic.
The growing success of Analytical Technology can largely be attributed to the high standard of customer service delivered by the company. Analytical Technology provides specialist product-specific customer training at its head quarters in Saddleworth, Manchester. Maintenance services and in-depth training workshops provided at customers’ premises are also part of the company’s comprehensive after-sales support.
Dr. Michael Strahand, General Manager Europe at Analytical Technology, comments: “Our decision to expand the Analytical Technology team reinforces our commitment to providing top quality customer service and I am delighted to welcome our new employees to their roles. Analytical Technology has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 1998 and we are proud to list many leading brands and companies in the food and beverage, cosmetic, utility and pharmaceutical sectors as our customers. Top class customer service is essential in this industry, where rapid response times to situations such as water treatment issues are essential to maintaining a safe and continuous water supply in water treatment and manufacturing plants.”
