Environmental focus drives demand for samplers

Aquamatic Ltd, the Manchester based automatic wastewater sampler manufacturer is now selling into more industrial sectors and territories, both in the UK and overseas, than ever before.

This news follows the recent supply of a large order for Samplers for use within a large industrial Anaerobic Digestion wastewater treatment plant in the paper pulp sector. In addition to this Aquamatic has seen significant overseas expansion into countries both within Europe and as far away as Southeast Asia.

Commenting on the situation, Jeremy Smith, Aquamatic’s MD, said, ‘We are now dealing with more industry types than ever before, we feel this is symptomatic of the increasing focus from the Environment Agency and Water Companies on what is being discharged into our watercourses. In these times of increased environmental awareness and the uncertainty of future climate impact it is very encouraging to see the market demand for environmental monitoring equipment such as our own being so strong. We are also finding that this focus is driving advancements in processing technologies such as AD (Anaerobic Digestion) which is giving the opportunity for improved performance and efficiencies, all of which are a positive.’
