New Portable Isothermal Sampler

The new Vigilant Eco portable isothermal sampler, from Aqualabo (France), uses the latest innovations in terms of components (servo-motors, PLC boards, vacuum pumps, etc.), combined with an extra light-weight (13 kg) and rounded shape design to ensure perfect workability and ease of transport.

The Vigilant Eco, which is extremely sturdy due to its HDPE shell with reinforcement strips, can be programmed very easily from its colour touch-sensitive screen. Time, flow rate, or event-based samples can be taken.

Its 3 pulse/contact outlets, as well as its Modbus RTU RS485 outlet enable an external unit to be controlled.

Available in a single-bottle version (multiple-bottle version in October 2016), the Vigilant Eco is perfectly tailored to field constraints.

Its long life lithium battery offering more than 1,500 samples and sampling campaigns lasting several days, even in the event of long weekends. An additional external battery or even a solar panel can also be connected for long-term campaigns.

Its simplicity and robustness do not prevent the Eco Vigilant from offering high quality performance, particularly thanks to its high-precision vacuum pump system ensuring a suction speed 0.7 ms-1 at 6 m with an accuracy of <1ml, and a suction height >7.5 m.

The Vigilant Eco, which complies with standard ISO 5667-10, has many safety features, including temperature sensing, infra-red sensor, tip-over sensor, and a sensor to detect water inside the enclosure.
