Portable Gas Detector Provides Immediate Results

The portable MECCOS Mobile Multi-Gas Monitor, from Leopold Siegrist (Germany), can be customised with up to 16 gas sensors. Specially developed for the immediate detection of hazardous levels of Oxygen, toxic and combustible gases, the MECCOS MGM is particularly suitable for all fire-fighting operations and runs.
The basic version monitors the following gases: NO2, NO, O2, O3, H2S, Hydrides (AsH3), F2, Cl2, HF, HCl/HBr, HCN, SO2, NH3, CO, H2, CH4/LEL, CO2(IR), COCl2, VOC (PID) (customisation is possible). Surveillance of both occupational exposure limit values (OELs) and acute exposure guideline levels (AEGL) is also a feature of the MECCOS MGM.
Features include: 4’’ Touch Screen showing values in real-time and graphically; Internal buzzer and LEDs signalise exceeding limit values for each sensor; Continuous operation (Li-Ion) for approx. 3 hours; and GPS (optional).
