Hanna Instruments, Inc launches a new family of Professional Waterproof Portable Meters 

Hanna Instruments is pleased to announce the release of a new family of portable meters for measuring pH, ORP, Ion Concentration, Conductivity and Dissolved Oxygen.

Hanna’s new professional waterproof meters are rugged and portable with the performance and features of other benchtop meters. These professional, waterproof meters comply with IP67 standards and measure pH, ORP, ion concentration with an ISE, conductivity (EC), and dissolved oxygen (DO). They all come packaged into a durable thermoformed carrying case.

The HI9819X family of meters, which includes the HI98190 (pH/ORP), HI98191 (pH/ORP/ISE), HI98192 (EC/TDS/resistivity/salinity), and HI98193 (DO/barometric pressure/BOD) feature a large backlit graphic LCD display that is easily viewed under any lighting condition. A simple intuitive interface allows for an outstanding user experience. All meters have dedicated keys for routine functions including calibration, setup, GLP and recall of logged data, which can be transferred to a PC with the built in micro USB.

The HI98191 professional, waterproof meter measures pH, ORP, ISE and temperature.  The HI98191 is supplied complete with all accessories to perform a pH/temperature measurement packaged into a durable thermoformed carrying case.

For ISE measurements, the HI98191 offers direct ion concentration readings for ion selective electrodes (ISEs) with the results displayed in a choice of concentration units. The HI98191 comes pre-programmed with 15 different ISE sensors, as well as the option to create a custom ISE. Hanna’s line of ISEs includes ammonia, fluoride, sodium, chloride, nitrate, potassium, and more. Selecting the appropriate sensor will automatically update the ion charge for slope calibration, and can be calibrated up to five points with the choice of seven standards and five custom values.
