Weather Data from Far Flung Places

Davis Instruments (USA) recently exhibited its Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue weather stations at the World Meteorological Technology Expo in Madrid. These weather stations indicate and record barometric pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind.

Davis’ stations are widely used by meteorologists as well being used in industrial applications as well. they are renowned for accurate measurements and durability.

Also on show in Madrid, was Vantage Connect, Davis’ weather telematics device, which sends weather data from far flung  places to the web. The self-contained Vantage Connect is powered by solar technology and functions as both a weather station receiver and a cellular modem, integrating with new or established Davis Weather Stations. Vantage Connect is perfect for the remote monitoring of one location or creating weather networks for broadcasting stations, research and industry applications.

Davis Instruments have recently announced that its WeatherLink network exceeded 22,000 users worldwide.
