Datalogger Now with Integrated WiFi Option
Jan 24 2016
Campbell Scientific’s (UK) latest Measurement and Control Datalogger, the CR6, now comes with a WiFi variant making it an ideal solution for short-range wireless IP communications.
The CR6, launched in 2014, is a feature packed data acquisition device which boasts ground breaking features such as its ‘U’ or universal terminals. These terminals are user-configurable to act as either analogue or digital inputs or outputs making the logger extremely flexible for any applications. The CR6 also offers native support for RS-232 and RS-485 serial sensors.
True 24 bit analogue resolution is also possible with a best effective analogue resolution of 50nV and a best accuracy of ±(0.04% of reading + 2 µV).
The CR6 is very compact especially considering that it features an integrated 10/100 internet port, a power management system and a Micro SD slot for memory expansion, all additional peripheral devices for previous loggers.
The WiFi variant is supplied with the device set to act as a WiFi Access Point but can also be configured to join an existing network with stand or enterprise security. Using Campbell Scientific’s free LoggerLink Mobile App users can access the CR6 wirelessly using any WiFi enabled device (phone, tablet etc.).
