Svantek Reports 20% Increase in Sales
Sep 12 2016
Specialist in noise and vibration instrumentation for occupational health and environmental monitoring, Svantek (UK) has reported a 20% increase in sales for the first half of 2016, compared to the same period last year.
Anticipating record growth by the end of 2016, the Bedford-based company attributes this latest success to a series of exciting new product launches, including the introduction of the world’s first personal hand-arm vibration exposure meter. The SV103 easily attaches to the operator’s arm whilst the lightweight MEMS accelerometer straps to the hand making it the only device to accurately measure the vibration dose being received.
Another key reason for the increase in sales is Svantek’s strengthened position in the construction market which is stipulating a preference for its high performance indoor and outdoor noise and vibration monitoring stations.
Paul Rubens, General Manager at Svantek comments: “We are delighted to see such an excellent performance from Svantek with a new record in half year sales by a wide margin. The products that we introduced last year have helped set a new benchmark in noise and vibration monitoring instrumentation ensuring they have been well received by both the occupational health and safety and environmental industries as a result.
“The team has also been successful in expanding the market penetration of our products within the construction industry, with us rapidly gaining preferred supplier status with contractors.”
