Groundwater Monitoring
Low Flow Sampling from 60m and Beyond
Jun 03 2013
Waterra-In-Situ has added the SS Geosub low voltage sampling pump to its extensive range of groundwater monitoring pumps.
With its stainless steel construction the SS Geosub can operate in the harshest borehole conditions. It is designed to sample from depths of up to 60 metres and provide low flow sampling rates to as little as 10 mL/min. A drop tube assembly can be used to sample water from greater than 60m depth where water level is within the head range of the pump.
Waterra-In-Situ Managing Director, Jon Trelfa, believes that clients will be attracted by the SS Geosub's versatility: "This is a 'go anywhere' piece of equipment that can take care of groundwater monitoring in lots of different environments: above ground and borehole related. It's highly durable, easy to decontaminate and field-maintainable."
The SS Geosub is available in kit that includes pump, reel and tubing (both PE and TLPE are available). Waterra-In-Situ can also separately supply the Geosub controller, drop tube assembly, reels and additional tubing (in a variety of lengths).
