Gas detection
New compact gas detection controller with a large capacity ensures trouble-free and precise gas detection across multiple applications
May 06 2022
Teledyne Oldham Simtronics have just launched their highly user-friendly and compact MX 256 Controller, a device that offers more than 200 gas detection points. The cost-effective MX 256 provides flexible, precise and dependable site management; its semi-automatic magnetic calibration significantly simplifies maintenance ensuring that the system remains in excellent condition even in the harshest of industrial locations.
This instrument’s fully addressable sensors reduce the cost of installation considerably while minimising its overall operating costs in comparison to using multiple stations for larger locations, for instance: industrial plants and factories, labs, hotels, educational establishments, and large public buildings and facilities.
The large capacity MX 256 features 256 addressable relays, 256 logic inputs and 256 digital sensors - hence the name. It also includes an 8-line digital control unit, integrated relays and 224 logic inputs. Its connected OLCT10N digital detectors can detect oxygen, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, ammonia, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
It is simple to install in a wall-mounted enclosure and its COM 256 software takes care of configuration.
This is the latest addition to Teledyne Oldham Simtronics’ MX family of units joining the MX 16, MX 32, MX 40, MX 43, MX 52 and MX 62 and enabling them to offer their customers an extensive range of solutions to cater for every gas detection need.
