Gas detection
Introducing e2v’s New IR11BR and IR15TT-R
Sep 23 2010
These two new sensors use the proven nondispersive (NDIR) principle to detect and monitor the presence of carbon dioxide gas up to 100% volume. The IR15TT-R has two active gas channels for simultaneous detection of carbon dioxide and methane (or other hydrocarbons). With an infrared source and specific filtering on the pyroelectric detectors mounted inside the optical/gas cavity, the gas concentration can be determined.
The IR11BR
• Infra-red sensor with extended sensing range of CO2 up to 100% volume
• Certified flame proof housing UL, CSA and ATEX
• 0.5% volume CO2 resolution up to 100% volume
• Long life
• Low power
• Fast response
The IR15TT-R
• 0 to 100% vol. carbon dioxide
• 0 to 100% vol. methane (also suitable for 0 to 5% vol. methane)
• Internal thermistor for temperature monitoring
• Long life
• Low power
• Fast response
