Multi Gas Clip Battery Lasts Months Instead of Hours
Aug 02 2013
Gas Clip Technologies (USA) have developed a technologically advanced portable multi gas detector, the Multi Gas Clip (MGC).
MGC is the first portable multi gas detector with a two month continuous run time without ever needing to be recharged. Shut down the instrument nightly and the battery can last up to four months. This extended battery life is due to the utilisation of low power photometric technology. Instead of draining the battery with pellistor technology, which has been around since the 1950’s, the MGC uses a low power photo diode infrared source. This conserves power during every test, so the battery lasts and lasts.
The MGC also eliminates the need to frequently calibrate. It can go six months without being calibrated saving precious time, resources and lives. While the MGC uses more sophisticated technology than other portable multi gas detectors, one button operation makes it easy to use.
Each MGC instrument is 100% quality control tested, not just a random sample of instruments, to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Servicing and maintenance are just a phone call away and there is never a fee to help keep the instruments operational at top performance to protect your most precious resource – your employees. If there is ever a need to replace an instrument, Gas Clip Technologies has a “no questions asked” return policy.
Multi Gas Clip has now made testing for the presence or absence of combustible gases, H2S, CO, or O2 more reliable, user friendly, and cost-effective.
