Gas Sensor Modules feature state-of-the-art Solid Polymer Sensor Technology
Mar 23 2023
EC Sense offer the TB600B and TB600C Gas Sensor Modules now with an I2C output. These sensor modules combine cutting-edge solid polymer sensor technology with a sophisticated circuit board, providing users with a simple and easy-to-use solution for gas sensing applications.
The sensor module is designed to make gas sensing easy for users, with its small sensor signal transformed into a standardised digital output. The module detects gas, temperature, and humidity simultaneously, providing a low-power, compact, and reliable solution for any gas detection needs.
The heart of the sensor module is a solid polymer electrochemical gas sensor, a revolutionary innovation in the field of electrochemical detection. The technology is based on the principle of electrochemical catalytic reaction, with the target gas generating a sensor signal that is directly proportional to the gas concentration. The EC Sense solid polymer sensors are small, robust, and reliable, have a fast response time, consume no power with a long lifetime. They have a sleep mode and can be recalibrated by sending a command.
Users can integrate the TB600B and TB600C Gas Sensor Modules into their device without worrying about sensor technology and calibration, allowing them to focus on their area of expertise. The modules are available with a standard UART digital output and the new I2C output. An evaluation kit is available that includes a UART/ I2C to USB adapter and easy-to-use testing software.
