Be the Master of Any Situation: Drägerware.act!

Drägerware.act! is the new disaster control software from Dräger. During an operation, for example, a major event or an accident, everyone involved at all levels of action will be supplied with all relevant information – wherever they are. This enables the optimal coordination of all action forces.

When events escalate, Drägerware.act! supplies all action forces with a complete overview of the situation. The software takes care of reporting the situation with the electronic map and, depending on the information
input, supplies the relevant planning. It shows the milestones such as streets and buildings in the operational area and depicts the unengaged real-time resources of security personnel and life-saving devices.

Dräger uses the software technology of MapTP from the mapping specialist Mapsolute for the map. The map display has many useful features, including the display speed and the high user comfort. The software
architecture of MapTP enables Dräger to integrate the map seamlessly into the in-built technology.

Custom solutions Drägerware.act! has a modular construction. The
software supplies a substantial, extremely fast registration for the respective subject areas and advisors. Functions such as resubmissions, due dates or the provision of prepared situation- and subject-specific task lists can be individually combined.

Operation coordinating computers and communal administration solutions can be integrated over several rural districts via a standardised EAI interface.

Even solutions used on a national level can be supplied automatically with information. This means effective networking of all operational forces without a large time or data loss – all independent of the site.
The Drägerware.act! user interface is clearly structured and can be operated intuitively. It displays operation-specific information clearly arranged and colour-coded. This means that even untrained users can
quickly get an overview of the situation.

Drägerware.act! was first used in August 2007 by the professional fire brigade Essen, Germany for the Loveparade, a large-scale music festival.
