Add Total Volatile Organic Compound Measurement to Your Existing Gas Monitoring Instrument Design
Jul 18 2016
The piD-POD from MOCON Inc. – Baseline (USA) allows for sample flow path integration of a piD-TECH photoionisation sensor into existing gas monitoring instrumentation without extensive engineering expense. Since a photoionisation detector does not destroy the sample, the piD-POD is a direct way for OEMs to provide a total volatile organic compound (TVOC) measurement into their instrument design prior to analysis by preexisting detectors.
Compact and economical, the piD-POD has no moving parts and consists of a cylindrical housing which accommodates the piD-TECH photoionisation sensor and inlet/outlet sample ports. It is engineered for inlet flows of up to 300 cc/min. and comes equipped with a PCB-mounted connector with mating adapter. The piD-POD utilises the MOCON-Baseline piD-TECH sensors, allowing the user to choose the desired sensitivity and lamp energy for the application.
