Gas analyser
UV gas analyser to be presented in Frankfurt
Apr 23 2018
Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG will present their new UVA 17 gas analyser at the upcoming Achema Fair in Frankfurt in Hall 11.1 Stand E19 . The new UV analyser can monitor a range of different gases including NO, NO2, NH3, SO2 and O2 in incineration plants as well as being used in the processes found in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
This analyser is based on a heated spectrometer and measures all UV absorptive gas components. An ejector supplies the sample gas. Due to the heated measuring cell (200°C) there is no need for elaborate gas conditioning. The instrument’s Xenon flash light has 2 to 3 times higher lifetime compared to other standard instruments available on the market.
The integrated zirconium dioxide cell serves the oxygen measurement. A small PC with 7” colour display and an Appâbased menu enables an intuitive operation on site as well as remotely. This analyser is available as coldâdry version as well this model is known as the UVA 17 CD.
