Gas Analyser
RASI 800 Portable emission and combustion analyser with MCERTS certification (applied for)
Dec 05 2012
The Rasi 800 is without any doubt the most advanced portable combustion and emission analyser available in the market today. We are very pleased to communicate that we have applied for the MCERTS certification scheme to cover the measurement of O2, CO, NO NO2, SO2 and CO2 for use as portable analyser for compliance reporting.
The RASI 800 can be configured with up to 6 electrochemical cells for measurement of O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2 and H2S and 3 GAS NDIR infrared bench for direct measurement of CO2 %, HC (combustibles) and high concentration of carbon monoxide up to 10 %.
Specially selected NO and NO2 cells are available to measure Low NOx with 0.1 ppm resolution.
Gas and Air Temperature, draught and differential pressures, are standard measurements in each RASI 800. The High CO and low CO measurement cells can be installed simultaneously allowing the user to measure both in lean or rich burn applications. Optionally,
RASI 800 can measure flow gas velocity and calculate mass emissions.
RCU wireless Remote Control Unit
The wireless RCU controls all the functions of the analyser and displays the measurement data on the 3.5” colour display with zoom function. The task oriented menu can be configured into application-specific programmes. The user can pre-configure the flue gas measurement parameters, units of display, fuel, CO Limits and O2 reference. The Remote feature makes the RASI 800 the ideal emission analysers when the flue gas test points are located away from the combustion control panels.
Thermoelectric Peltier cooler and continue condensate drain off
A correct sample conditioner is the basis for ensuring the long life of any electrochemical based portable combustion analyser. Delivering a dry gas to the measurements cells is also crucial for ensuring repeatability, stability and accuracy of the readings.
RASI 800 features an high efficiency thermoelectric Peltier cooler which quickly remove the moisture from the gas sample. The Peristaltic pump automatically removes the accumulated condensate from the water trap minimising the sample gas contact with moisture. A condensate monitor and alarm system continuously monitor the gas stream and advise the user if the moisture level in the sample is too high. The automatic drain-off is particularly convenient for long term and unattended measurements.
Other advanced features include automatic CO bypass pump to avoid CO saturation, measurement programme with automatic data logging on SD card and a useful sensor diagnostic page.
Sampling probes
A wide range of gas sampling probes with different immersion depth and temperature range up to 1200C cover most of the applications. A special industrial sampling probe with heated head and glass wool filter is available to use with in combustion processes with high presence of particulates.
